Job summary

Maybank Singapore is seeking a strategic Senior SACM leader to define and run the enterprise Service Asset & Configuration Management function. You will own the strategy, standards and operating model for a trusted asset and configuration data source across hardware, software, cloud, and third‑party components.

You will establish and maintain a single authoritative inventory and CMDB, drive automation and data quality, and partner with Technology, Information Security and business stakeholders

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 8 years in Service Asset Management or CMDB.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL SACM and asset governance.
• Hands-on with ServiceNow ITAM/CMDB; Device42 or ManageEngine is a plus.
• Familiarity with Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI).
• Understanding of technology risk, audit, regulatory requirements in financial services.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.

Join Maybank Singapore and play a pivotal role in strengthening the Bank's technology governance, enterprise assets visibility and regulatory posture. Lead the enterprise Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM) function owing the strategy, standards and operating model for a single, accurate and trusted source of truth for Technology Service assets and configuration items.

You will establish and continuously maintain the authoritative asset register and CMDB across the full asset lifecycle and across all asset classes — hardware, software, cloud, cryptographic, open-source and third-party components — and drive the people, process and tooling that keep it current. The role is accountable for asset data quality, reconciliation and governance, enabling effective service management, risk management, cost optimisation and informed decision-making. Beyond building the capability, you will run and sustain it as an ongoing service.

Responsibilities:-

• Lead the Bank's Service Asset & Configuration Management (SACM) strategy and roadmap
• Establish and maintain a single authoritative inventory of Service assets across hardware, software, cryptographic, open-source and third-party components
• Drive asset discovery, data reconciliation and remediation to improve asset visibility and data quality
• Oversee asset lifecycle governance, including onboarding, maintenance and decommissioning processes
• Lead automation initiatives and support the implementation and optimisation of ServiceNow CMDB / ITAM capabilities
• Establish governance metrics, KRIs and reporting to support audit and regulatory requirements
• Partner with Technology, Information Security, Enterprise Architecture and business stakeholders to strengthen asset management practices across the Bank.

Requirements:-

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline
• At least 8 years of experience in Service Asset Management, Configuration Management, CMDB or related disciplines
• Strong knowledge of ITIL SACM, asset lifecycle management, data reconciliation and governance frameworks
• Hands‑on experience with ServiceNow ITAM, CMDB and Discovery; experience with Device42 or ManageEngine is advantageous
• Familiarity with Power Platform tools such as Power Automate, Dataverse and Power BI
• Good understanding of technology risk, audit and regulatory requirements within a financial services environment
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives.
