Job summary

NEX Healthcare in Singapore is seeking a Clinic Operations Assistant to support daily patient services and clinic resources, ensuring a smooth workflow under the guidance of the Managing Doctor or Clinic Manager.

You will greet walk-in patients, register and schedule appointments, assist with dispensing medicines per protocol, handle payments, respond to inquiries, process online claims, and maintain a clean, well-stocked clinic environment across Sengkang, Serangoon, and AMK areas.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work weekday nights, staggered shifts, and weekends.
• Experience in patient registration and information verification.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist walk-in patients to create a welcoming clinic experience.
• Register patients and verify personal and medical information for records.
• Schedule patient appointments to optimize workflow and reduce waiting times.
• Dispense medicines by preparing prescribed medications per clinic protocol.
• Collect payments and process transactions accurately.
• Answer patient enquiries clearly and promptly.
• Process online medical claims with required documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the clinic environment.
• Monitor consumables inventory and ensure timely replenishment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Managing Doctor or Clinic Manager.

• Register patients accurately by collecting and verifying their personal and medical information for proper record-keeping
• Schedule patient appointments to optimize clinic workflow and reduce waiting times
• Dispense medicine by preparing and providing prescribed medications according to clinic protocols
• Collect payments from patients and process transactions accurately to maintain financial records
• Respond to patient enquiries clearly and promptly to provide helpful information and support
• Process online medical claims by submitting required documentation to facilitate timely reimbursements
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the clinic environment to ensure a safe and hygienic space
• Monitor and manage consumables inventory to ensure adequate stock levels and timely replenishment
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Managing Doctor or Clinic Manager to support clinic operations

Required competencies and certifications

• Ability to work weekday nights, staggered shifts, and weekends as scheduled (clinic closed on Sundays and public holidays)
