Position: Client Services Executive - Employee Benefits

Key Responsibilities
1. Client and HR Account Servicing
- Serve as the main servicing person for assigned corporate clients and HR representatives.
- Handle day-to-day enquiries on Employee Benefits, coverage, eligibility, employee movements and policy servicing.
- Provide prompt updates, take ownership of outstanding matters and follow through to resolution.
- Build strong working relationships through responsive, accurate and professional service.
2. Policy Administration and Employee Movements
- Coordinate policy issuance, endorsements, amendments and employee additions, deletions or coverage changes.
- Review policy documents and supporting information for completeness and accuracy.
- Monitor key policy dates, submission deadlines and outstanding documentation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date policy, employee and servicing records.
3. Renewals, Market Review and Insurer Coordination
- Manage renewal timelines and obtain required information from clients and insurers.
- Obtain and compare quotations across premiums, benefits, coverage terms, limits, conditions and exclusions.
- Prepare comparison summaries for internal review and client discussion.
- Support negotiation of premiums and policy terms and highlight material differences or areas requiring further review.
- Follow up with insurers on quotations, renewal terms and outstanding actions.
4. Employee Benefits and Claims Support
- Support HR teams and employees with benefit enquiries, onboarding, eligibility, coverage and claims requirements.
- Guide clients and employees on claims documentation and submission processes.
- Coordinate with insurers on claim status, outstanding requirements and unresolved matters.
- Escalate complex, disputed or technical matters where necessary.
5. Premium Calculation and Payment Follow-Up
- Calculate or verify premium amounts payable based on policy and employee information.
- Check billing statements and communicate payment amounts, instructions and timelines to clients.
- Follow up on outstanding premiums and obtain remittance or payment confirmation.
- Resolve payment discrepancies and maintain accurate payment records in relevant systems, including GEMS.
6. Client Insights and Coverage Review Support
- Develop an understanding of each client’s workforce, Employee Benefits structure and HR priorities.
- Identify recurring employee concerns, utilisation patterns, servicing issues or potential coverage gaps.
- Highlight areas for review, including duplicated benefits, underutilised benefits or changing client needs.
- Support preparation of client insights, renewal discussions and Employee Benefits reviews.
7. Documentation and Department Support
- Maintain complete and accurate client, policy, claims, payment and servicing records.
- Prepare client presentations, policy summaries, benefit comparisons and servicing materials where required.
- Support client meetings, employee briefings, engagement activities and departmental reporting.
- Contribute to service and process improvements and perform other reasonable duties related to Employee Benefits servicing.
Relevant Skills and Experience
- Strong customer service and account servicing mindset, with the ability to support corporate clients, HR teams and employees professionally.
- Meticulous and detail-oriented, particularly when handling employee data, policy information, premium calculations and documentation.
- Responsive and able to provide timely follow-up on client enquiries, insurer requests and outstanding matters.
- Strong sense of accountability and ownership, with the discipline to follow through on tasks until matters are properly resolved.
- Comfortable working with numbers and performing basic premium calculations, checking billing information and verifying amounts payable.
- Organised and able to manage multiple client accounts, renewal timelines, policy changes and administrative requirements concurrently.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain information clearly to clients and employees.
- Able to coordinate effectively with insurers, internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Good problem-solving skills and able to identify discrepancies, missing information or potential servicing issues and elevate where necessary.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, with the ability to maintain accurate records and trackers.
- Prior experience in customer service, account servicing, insurance administration, HR administration or a similar client-facing support role would be advantageous.
- Prior Employee Benefits or insurance experience is preferred but not essential, as training can be provided to a candidate with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
- Able to work independently while maintaining good communication with the wider team.
- Demonstrates professionalism, reliability, confidentiality and a positive service attitude.
