Job summary

Search Personnel Pte Ltd is recruiting a Claims Executive for a permanent role at Raffles Quay, walking distance from Telok Ayer MRT in Singapore. You will manage insurance claims end-to-end, including marine lines such as Hull & Machinery, Crew and P&I.

The position requires a Diploma in any discipline and 1–2 years of experience in insurance claims or broking. Marine exposure is advantageous; MS Office proficiency and meticulous documentation are essential.

• Support settlement discussions with underwriters.
• Provide clients with updates on claims status and next steps.
• Maintain complete claims documentation, statistics and loss records.
• Coordinate with broking and admin teams on reporting and settlement.

Job description

• Position: Claims Executive
• Location: Raffles Quay (Walking Distance from Telok Ayer MRT Station)
• Working hours: Monday to Friday (8:45am - 6pm)
• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $4,500 Monthly Basic Salary + 1-Month AWS + Performance Bonus + 16 Days Annual Leave + Flexi Benefits
• Duration: Permanent
• Industry: Insurance Broking

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage insurance claims from notification through settlement, including marine claims such as Hull & Machinery, Crew and Protection & Indemnity.
• Record and monitor claims notifications and follow up on outstanding information.
• Liaise with clients, insurers, surveyors, adjusters and other relevant parties.
• Review supporting documents, bills and claim information for submission.
• Support claims discussions and settlement follow-up with underwriters.
• Provide clients with updates on claims status and required next steps.
• Maintain complete claims documentation, statistics and loss records.
• Coordinate with broking and administrative teams on claims-related reporting and settlement documentation.

Requirements:

• Diploma in any discipline or equivalent qualification.
• At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in insurance claims, insurance broking or another insurance-related role.
• Claims experience from any insurance class may be considered; prior marine insurance experience is not required.
• Prior exposure to marine insurance, P&I, Hull & Machinery or maritime-related claims would be advantageous.
• Meticulous and detail-oriented, with good documentation accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
