Job summary

People Profilers Pte. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated claims handler to manage insurance claims, primarily marine, from notification to settlement.

The ideal candidate will liaise with clients, insurers, surveyors and underwriters, review documents, maintain records and contribute to accurate loss statistics. Strong MS Office skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in any discipline.
• Candidates with claims/insurance experience advantageous.
• Good communication and able to liaise with clients and insurers.
• Meticulous, organised and proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Handle and process insurance claims for clients, mainly marine insurance.
• Record new claim notifications and monitor progress until settlement.
• Coordinate with clients, insurers, surveyors, adjusters and related parties.
• Assist in arranging surveyors for damage assessment when required.
• Review supporting documents and bills before submission to insurers or surveyors.
• Follow up with underwriters to ensure claims are reviewed and settled fairly.
• Update clients on claim status and assist with claim-related enquiries.
• Prepare claims records, loss statistics and work with internal teams on payment or documentation matters.
