Position Overview

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Child Care Assistant to support our teachers in the classroom. The Child Care Assistant plays an important role in caring for children’s daily needs, preparing learning environments, and helping to ensure a safe, positive, and engaging experience for every child.

Key Responsibilities

• Support lead teachers in daily classroom routines and activities.
• Supervise children during play, meals, rest, and transitions.
• Assist in preparing learning materials, setting up provocations, and tidying the classroom.
• Attend to children’s basic needs such as toileting, feeding, and hygiene.
• Ensure the environment is safe, clean, and welcoming.

Requirements

• Experience working with young children (18 months – 6 years) preferred.
• Minimum Fundamentals in Early Childhood Care and Education (FECCE) certification or willing to work towards it.

• Physically fit to care for young children and support classroom activities.
