Job summary

TikTok is seeking a senior leader to head Risk Intelligence, reporting to the Global Head of Risk Detection. You will build and guide a high-performing team, shape priorities, and raise the function’s quality and scale through proactive, data-driven risk detection.

You’ll partner with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to improve inputs, automate workflows, and implement AI-enabled solutions where appropriate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in intelligence, risk, trust and safety, investigations, operations, product strategy, or related fields.
• Experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional work in fast-moving and ambiguous environments.
• Excellent judgment and the ability to make thoughtful decisions in high-stakes or ambiguous situations.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to use data to identify issues and inform decisions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including working with senior or executive leadership.
• Demonstrated experience applying automation or AI-enabled solutions to improve how work gets done.
• Demonstrated ability to improve systems, workflows, or operating models — not only execute within existing ones.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and grow a high-performing Risk Intelligence team responsible for intelligence collection, analysis, and proactive risk detection.
• Translate team and organizational priorities into clear execution plans and measurable outcomes.
• Improve how intelligence is collected, stored, and acted on to inform detection and decision making.
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to improve inputs, tooling, reporting, and scalable workflows.
• Identify operational gaps and drive improvements across the intelligence lifecycle, including automation opportunities.
• Define and track measures of impact (detection quality, efficiency, prevention).
• Build a high-standards team culture grounded in judgment, partnership, and continuous improvement.
