Job summary

NEW ZHONG HUA GUO WANG PTE. LTD. is seeking a Kitchen operative to maintain high standards of Chinese cuisine and food safety in a fast-paced restaurant environment in Singapore.

You will handle day-to-day kitchen operations, assist in inventories, and ensure cleanliness and equipment maintenance. Applicants should have at least 5 years of relevant experience, strong Chinese culinary skills, and the ability to work split shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of working experience in the related field.
• Chinese cuisine culinary is required.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day kitchen operation to ensure consistency in food quality and freshness according to SOPs and hygiene standards.
• Prepare, cook and serve a variety of items according to menus.
• Ensure general kitchen cleanliness, tidiness, safety and hygiene in preparation and storage per NEA guidelines.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
• Assist in inventories and stock ordering management.
