A prominent culinary firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced chef to prepare and cook dishes according to the menu. Responsibilities include maintaining hygiene standards, ensuring safe operations of kitchen equipment, and working in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must have 2-5 years of experience and a Food Hygiene certificate. Flexibility to work on public holidays and night shifts is required.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook assigned dishes for serving according to the menu
Keep kitchen area, processing equipment, and cooking utensils clean and sanitized at all times
Process all food according to company and government regulatory controls
Able to fill in any area of kitchen at any time
Keep utensils and equipment clean and sanitary
Remove trash and storage bins
Ensure safe operations of all equipment and report any faulty equipment to superiors immediately
Comply with hygiene and safety regulations set by the company, clients, and government
Perform any other related duties as assigned by immediate superiors
Job Requirements:
Proven minimum 2-5 years of experience as a chef
Food Hygiene certificate required
Able to communicate skills and be a team player
Cheerful and self-motivated with a positive working attitude
Able to work at a fast-paced environment
Able to work on public holidays and weekends
Able to work night shifts and split shifts
