Job summary

Alphaeus Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to be the first contact for customers, delivering prompt desktop support and ensuring compliance with IT standards. You will handle imaging, inventories, and escalation to vendors as needed.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in desktop support, knowledge of Windows 10 and Office 365, and relevant IT certifications. This is a 1-year contract with renewal potential based on performance.

Qualifications

ITE or diploma graduate with 1 year of desktop support experience.
Experience with Windows 10 and Office 365.
Certifications: CompTIA A+, Security+, Network+ or Microsoft 365/Windows certifications.
IT helpdesk or call centre support experience, including remote support.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide desktop support as the first contact point for customers, addressing a range of IT topics and issues in a timely manner.
Perform imaging/re-imaging.
Perform asset inventories.
Escalate incidents to 3rd party vendors or resolver groups as needed.
Update Incident records.
Create and update work instructions where necessary.
Document standards and procedures where necessary.
Any ad hoc task as assigned that is relevant to this role.
