About the Role:

One of our clients is seeking an experienced Cargo Trader to join their growing trading team in Singapore. This is a newly created position designed to strengthen our 3rd party trading activities across gasoil and gasoline.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in sourcing suppliers from the market, marketing products to potential buyers, and executing profitable trades, while maintaining compliance and building strong relationships across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute and monitor daily crude and distillate (gas oil/gasoline) trading operations, including documentation and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Support negotiations, manage buying and selling processes, and ensure accurate, timely execution of trades.
  • Source suppliers and market opportunities, identify and secure profitable tenders.
  • Maintain precise records of all trading transactions in accordance with internal procedures.
  • Represent the company in external meetings with partners, clients, and stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in oil & gas product (gasoil/gasoline) cargo trading.
  • Proven success in 3rd party trading transactions (buying from and selling to the market).
  • Familiarity with trading systems (particularly those related to supply-to-selling flows).
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify opportunities in distillates trading.

Note: While a strong regional commercial network is advantageous, it is not a strict requirement.

Compensation Package:
