Job summary

GMP Technologies in Singapore is seeking a procurement professional to manage end-to-end purchasing activities. You will source, RFQ, negotiate with suppliers, and oversee shipping and delivery follow-up to support production schedules.

The role requires coordination with planning and suppliers, inventory control, and accurate documentation. Candidates with 1–3 years of purchasing experience and a Diploma in supply chain management are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in supply chain management or relevant field.
• 1-3 years of working experience in purchasing function.
• Experience in bulk purchase and end-to-end purchasing activities is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full purchasing process from sourcing and RFQ to negotiation, shipping, and delivery follow-up.
• Review and purchase materials, components, and equipment as directed by the MRP system.
• Expedite deliveries with vendors to ensure the production schedule is met.
• Coordinate with planning and suppliers to ensure on-time material delivery for customer satisfaction.
• Be responsible for inventory management and execute pre-set stocking rules periodically.
• Liaise with logistics companies for shipment arrangement, status updates, and customs declaration.
• Manage suppliers to meet objectives concerning quality, delivery fulfillment, and inventory control.
• Process all purchasing documentation, including vendor setup and matching/submission of PO, DN, and invoices to Finance.
• Handle the return of RMA and NCT units to suppliers for resolution.
• Execute established plans to achieve cost reduction targets.
• Ensure the timely update and submission of weekly and monthly reports.
