Job summary

S.F. Express (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a Business Process Excellence Specialist to drive process consistency and improvements for air freight operations in Singapore, including supporting CargoWise implementation.

The role involves reviewing workflows, enforcing SOPs, mapping requirements, and coaching frontline teams, with close collaboration across Operations, Product, and regional BPE teams. Fluency in English and Mandarin is preferred for China HQ coordination.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in air freight or freight forwarding operations.
• Hands-on experience using CargoWise and process-improvement initiatives.
• Ability to document requirements and translate issues into actionable solutions.
• Experience in UAT, change requests or frontline training is advantageous.
• Proficient in English and Mandarin for coordination with China HQ on processes.
• Strong coordination, attention to detail and end-to-end issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Review air freight workflows, documentation and practices across Singapore stations; identify gaps and implement improvements.
• Enforce SOPs, policies and operational requirements, and monitor compliance and performance.
• Translate operational needs into system requirements; manage change requests with regional HQ.
• Support CargoWise implementation, including process mapping, UAT, issue tracking and rollout.
• Coach frontline teams on SOPs and system use; communicate changes clearly.
• Coordinate with Operations, Product, regional BPE and Technology teams to resolve issues.
• Prepare process readiness for new air freight operations or station launches in Singapore.
• Monitor process compliance, system adoption and relevant KPIs; provide updates.

About the role

We are looking for a Business Process Excellence (BPE) Specialist to drive process consistency and improvement for our air freight operations across Singapore. The immediate priorities include developing operational processes for the Singapore air freight hub and supporting the implementation of CargoWise.

Key responsibilities

• Review air freight workflows, documentation and operational practices across Singapore stations; identify gaps and develop practical improvements.
• Implement and monitor compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), policies and operational requirements.
• Translate operational needs into clear process and system requirements; prepare and follow up on change requests with regional and headquarters teams.
• Support CargoWise implementation and system enhancements, including process mapping, user acceptance testing (UAT), issue tracking, training and rollout.
• Coach front-line teams on SOPs and system use, and communicate process or system changes clearly.
• Coordinate with Operations, Product, regional BPE and Technology teams to resolve process and system issues.
• Support process and system readiness for new air freight operations or station launches in Singapore.
• Monitor process compliance, system adoption and relevant operational KPIs; provide regular updates and elevate unresolved issues.

About you

• At least 3 years of experience in air freight or freight forwarding operations, with a good understanding of operational workflows and related documentation.
• Hands-on experience using CargoWise, together with experience in process improvement, SOP implementation or operational system rollout.
• Able to identify operational issues, document requirements and work with different teams to implement solutions.
• Experience in UAT, change requests or front-line training is an advantage.
• Good written and spoken English and Mandarin. Mandarin is required for regular communication with China headquarters on air freight processes, system requirements and SOP updates.
• Strong coordination skills, attention to detail and the ability to follow issues through to resolution.
