Job summary

AUGMENTUM PARTNERS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Logistics Operations Executive to manage air and sea freight shipments, ensure documentation accuracy, and liaise with customers, carriers and authorities to deliver seamless service.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related discipline preferred.
• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, customs declaration or supply chain operations recommended.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate import and export shipment operations for air and/or sea freight.
• Prepare, verify and process shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, permits, invoices and customs declarations.
• Ensure timely and accurate shipment data entry into freight forwarding systems.
• Monitor shipment milestones and provide shipment status updates.
• Liaise with customers, carriers, customs authorities, transport providers, overseas offices and vendors.
• Arrange customs clearance activities and ensure compliance with regulations and SOPs.
• Coordinate transport, cargo release and delivery arrangements.
• Verify shipping documents before shipment release.
• Follow up on shipment exceptions, delays, damaged cargo and operational issues.
• Support invoicing, billing verification and resolution of invoice discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate operational records and comply with company policies.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Description Logistics Operations Executive (Air & Sea Freight) - Onsite (Singapore)

1. Job Overview

The Logistics Operations Executive is responsible for providing efficient and proactive operational support for international freight forwarding activities, including air freight, sea freight, import, export and customs clearance operations. The role ensures shipments are processed accurately, comply with regulatory requirements, and are delivered according to customer expectations while maintaining excellent service standards. The successful candidate will coordinate with customers, carriers, customs authorities, overseas offices, vendors and internal departments to ensure smooth shipment execution and operational excellence.

2. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate import and export shipment operations for air and/or sea freight.

4. Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not have direct supervisory responsibility. The incumbent may provide guidance or operational support to new or junior team members when required.

5. Qualifications

Education: Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related discipline preferred. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.

Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, customs declaration or supply chain operations. Experience in air freight, sea freight, import/export operations or customs clearance is advantageous.

Knowledge & Skills: Good understanding of freight forwarding processes and customs regulations; proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong communication, organisation, customer service and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
