Job summary

Cultivar Asia Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a hands-on Airfreight Operations professional to join our team. You will manage end-to-end airfreight import/export shipments, coordinate with clients and service providers, and ensure accurate data in CargoWise while maintaining high service standards.

The role requires 2–5 years in logistics with hands-on airfreight experience. You will work with international offices on trade lanes, handle rate requests, mentor juniors, and continuously improve

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in logistics.
• Hands-on experience in airfreight import and export operations.
• Good understanding of logistics, warehousing, customs and freight rates.
• Experience with CargoWise is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end airfreight import and export shipments from booking to invoicing.
• Handle operational queries between clients, internal teams and service providers.
• Manage freight rate requests and negotiate pricing where required.
• Coordinate with service providers on rates, SLAs and issues.
• Ensure shipment information is accurately maintained in CargoWise.
• Monitor shipment quality and ensure service standards are met.
• Collaborate with international offices on airfreight trade lanes.
• Identify and resolve operational issues in a timely manner.
• Support and mentor junior team members.
• Maintain accurate operational and statistical information.

The Opportunity

Our client is an established international logistics organization looking for a hands-on and driven Airfreight Operations professional to join its Singapore team.

This is a key role supporting airfreight operations and key accounts, where you will work closely with clients, service providers and international offices to ensure shipments are handled smoothly from booking through to invoicing.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage end-to-end airfreight import and export shipments, from receiving requests and booking through to invoicing
• Handle operational queries between clients, internal teams and service providers
• Manage freight rate requests and negotiate pricing where required
• Coordinate with service providers on rates, service levels and operational issues
• Ensure shipment information and operational processes are accurately maintained in CargoWise
• Monitor shipment quality and ensure operational procedures and service standards are followed
• Work with international offices to understand and develop airfreight trade lanes
• Identify and resolve operational issues in a timely manner
• Support and mentor junior team members / learners
• Maintain accurate operational and statistical information

What We're Looking For

• 2-5 years of experience in logistics
• Hands‑on experience in airfreight import and export operations
• Good understanding of logistics, warehousing, customs and freight rates
• Experience with CargoWise is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
• Good communication skills and confidence dealing with clients and service providers
• Proactive, energetic and willing to take ownership
• A strong willingness to learn and take on responsibilities beyond your immediate role
