A leading maritime solutions provider in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to enhance fuel-conversion technologies and manage client negotiations. The role involves direct interactions with fleet owners and energy suppliers to ensure alignment with sustainability goals. Candidates must excel in creating detailed proposals and maintaining long-term customer relationships. This position offers significant responsibilities in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Determine and focus on fleet owners, operators, and energy suppliers who may need upgrades.
  • Advance fuel-conversion and emission-reducing technologies according to sustainability goals.
  • Create a pipeline of opportunities through direct interaction and professional networks.
  • Work with Product Center, Technical Sales, and Engineering to create retrofit packages.
  • Examine engine configurations to ascertain ROI and viability.
  • Conduct technical-commercial conversations with clients on scope and expectations.
  • Create proposals with risk assessments, pricing plans, and time constraints.
  • Lead negotiations ensuring alignment with contract terms and financial goals.
  • Ensure documentation and adherence to export control and legal requirements.
  • Serve as primary contact for customers during the pre-contract stage.
  • Maintain long-term connections for customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Monitor consumer preferences and market developments.
  • Collaborate with Project Execution team for smooth contract transition.
  • Communicate with Engineering, Finance, and Procurement for defined terms and costs.

  • Advance the range of fuel-conversion and emission-reducing technologies in accordance with customer sustainability goals and changing IMO rules.
  • Actively create a robust pipeline of possibilities by direct interaction, gatherings, and professional networks.
  • Work together with the Product Center, Technical Sales, and Engineering to create specialized, technically sound retrofit packages.
  • Examine engine configurations, operational data, and vessel parameters to ascertain ROI and viability.
  • Have technical-commercial conversations with clients to coordinate on scope and expectations.
  • Create and deliver proposals that include risk assessments, pricing plans, and cost estimates, as well as time constraints.
  • Take the lead in negotiations, making sure they are in line with the contract terms and the company's financial goals.
  • Assure appropriate documentation, internal approvals, and adherence to export control and legal requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during the pre-contract stage, offering timely communication and professional advice.
  • Keep up long-term connections to guarantee customer happiness, referenceability, and repeat business.
  • Monitor consumer preferences, market developments, and rivalry.
  • To guarantee a seamless transition following contract award, collaborate closely with the Project Execution team.
  • Communicate with Engineering, Finance, and Procurement to guarantee that terms, costs, and specs are well-defined.
