Job Overview
Responsible for driving business growth and sales performance for green technology, decarbonization, and retrofit solutions across the marine, offshore, power generation, oil & gas, and industrial sectors. The role focuses on business development, customer engagement, sales strategy, contract negotiation, and market expansion while promoting sustainable and energy‑efficient engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Market Expansion
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within marine, offshore, and industrial sectors.
- Promote decarbonization and energy‑efficiency solutions aligned with industry regulations and environmental requirements.
- Develop strong technical and commercial knowledge of retrofit engineering projects, including:
- Ballast Water Treatment Systems (BWTS)
- Exhaust Gas Cleaning Systems (Scrubbers)
- Integrated retrofit and upgrade projects
- Vessel performance optimization and energy‑saving technologies
- Drive local and international market expansion initiatives.
Sales & Commercial Management
- Achieve sales targets, revenue goals, and profitability objectives.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including forecasting, proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and deal closure.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to support business growth.
- Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and account updates.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Conduct customer meetings, technical presentations, and solution discussions.
- Act as a trusted advisor by providing technical and commercial recommendations.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Take ownership of customer engagements and commercial proposals.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, sales, and global teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Support team development through coaching, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain adherence to company procedures and industry regulations.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Marine, Offshore, Oil & Gas, or related industries.
- Experience in automation, instrumentation, electrical, or electronics systems is advantageous.
- Strong business development, sales, negotiation, and account management skills.
- Ability to understand technical engineering solutions and translate them into commercial opportunities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and travel when required.
