About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Assistant Manager to support business growth across the marine, process, land and offshore sectors. Reporting to the Operations Director and Managing Director, this role focuses on identifying new opportunities, developing key accounts, and supporting sales and business development activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and revenue streams

  • Generate leads via cold calls, networking, social media, and industry events

  • Manage and grow relationships with clients and key accounts

  • Meet clients locally and internationally (as required)

  • Support tendering, pricing, quotations, and contract discussions

  • Work closely with engineering and internal teams to meet client requirements

  • Maintain sales pipeline, forecasts, and reports

Requirements
  • Diploma or higher qualification

  • 5–7 years’ experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles

  • Experience in marine and/or process sectors (both is an advantage)

  • Proven track record in sales growth and client management

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

  • Able to work independently and collaboratively

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
