About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Building Technician to join our team at Royal Group Holdings. As a Building Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our commercial properties in the Raffles Place Central Region. This is a full-time position that will allow you to utilise your technical expertise and passion for building maintenance to contribute to the success of our organisation.

What you’ll be doing

1. Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of various building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and security systems
2. Identifying and addressing any issues or malfunctions in a timely and effective manner
3. Performing minor repairs and renovations as needed, such as painting, carpentry, and general handyman tasks
4. Collaborating with external contractors and service providers to coordinate larger-scale maintenance and repair projects
5. Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance activities and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards
6. Providing exceptional customer service to tenants and building occupants, addressing their concerns and requests promptly

What we’re looking for

1. Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in building maintenance, HVAC, electrical, or a related field
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a building technician or maintenance role, preferably in a commercial or multi-tenant property setting
3. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve a wide range of building-related issues
4. Proficient in the use of various tools and equipment required for building maintenance tasks
5. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders
6. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
