Preventive and Breakdown Maintenance
- Supervised the Preventive and Breakdown Maintenance team within the building department, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to safety standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of building equipment and facilities to ensure proper functionality
- Oversee maintenance works including plumbing and sanitary, painting, furniture repairs etc.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to building systems e.g. domestic water pumps, plumbing systems etc.
- Provide engineering expertise and support to technicians and contractors.
- Review and recommend system upgrades, retrofits, and energy-saving initiatives
- Review service reports and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Verify completed works before sign-off and ensure proper documentation
- Ensure building systems comply with statutory requirements (e.g., SCDF, PUB, NEA, MOM regulations
- Coordinate mandatory inspections Annual Water Tank Cleaning (License Plumber) for PUB certifications
Project Coordination & Specialised Maintenance Works
- Assist in planning and execution of improvement, upgrading, and A&A (Addition & Alteration) works.
- Prepare budgetary estimates and quotations
- Review shop drawings and technical submissions for compliance with building standards.
- Ensure project commissioning and handover of new systems.
- Recommend and implement cost-saving initiatives and sustainable practices.
Quality, Safety & Risk Management
- Conducted routine site inspections to monitor work quality and adherence to safety standards.
- Actively assessed the work environment for potential hazards and supported the implementation of corrective measures.
- Participated in quality and safety audits, contributing to compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Identified project risks and escalated concerns to relevant stakeholders for mitigation planning.
Documentation & Inventory Control
- Assisted in preparing and maintaining essential project documentation, including site records and compliance reports.
- Managed jobsite inventory, ensuring materials and equipment were adequately stocked and properly maintained.
Billing & Financial Coordination
- Supported the finalization of billings and certification of contractor invoices.
- Coordinated the verification and approval of additional claims submitted by contractors, ensuring accuracy and contractual alignment.
