Job summary

Planet Pharma in Singapore seeks a Business Development Manager to drive growth in DNA synthesis, gene engineering and protein solutions across Asia Pacific. You will win new business, build strategic relationships and grow revenue among biotech, pharma and academic customers.

You will develop territory plans for SG, HK & Taiwan, lead presentations and negotiations, and collaborate with scientific, marketing and operations teams to maintain a healthy sales pipeline.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ commercial experience within genomics, synthetic biology, protein sciences, antibody discovery or life science services.
• Proven track record of business development and revenue generation.
• Strong network across biotech, pharma or research markets within Asia.
• Degree or higher in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory growth plans across SG, HK & Taiwan.
• Prospect, win and grow accounts within biotech, pharma and research organisations.
• Drive sales of gene synthesis, synthetic biology and protein-focused solutions.
• Lead customer presentations, proposals, negotiations and contract execution.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of commercial opportunities.
• Partner closely with scientific, marketing and operational teams.
