Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a BIM Drafter for Mechanical and Electrical projects. The role involves designing M&E systems, performing quantity take-offs, and conducting inspections. Candidates should possess a Diploma or Certificate from a BIM modeling course, with experience in LTA projects being advantageous. Responsibilities

• Develop and design the Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) system.
• Perform quantity take-offs for MEP services and prepare documentation.
• Conduct inspections and testing post-installation.
• Provide construction drawings, and support during project execution.
• Coordinate with clients and contractors to resolve issues.
• Design duct sizing using calculations and software tools.
• Size mechanical ventilation fans according to project requirements.
• Assist in preparing Combined Services Drawings (CSD).

Job description

As a BIM Drafter, Mechanical and Electrical, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Develop and design the Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) system.
• Perform quantity take-offs for MEP services and prepare all necessary documentation.
• Conduct inspections and testing post-installation to ensure compliance and quality.
• Provide construction drawings, and support testing and commissioning activities during project execution.
• Coordinate with clients, civil contractors, architects, and other M&E contractors to resolve interface issues and address technical queries.
• Design duct sizing through manual calculations and duct sizing software tools.
• Size mechanical ventilation fans, grilles, and diffusers according to project requirements.
• Assist senior modelers in preparing Combined Services Drawings (CSD) and other submission-related deliverables.
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Possess a Diploma or Certificate from BCA BIM modelling course with experience in LTA projects is an advantage.
