Paradox Singapore is seeking a friendly Bellman for a full-time on-site role to deliver attentive guest service, transport luggage, and assist guests as needed.

You will welcome guests, guide them to rooms, manage luggage, assist with Kiosk check-in/out, and share local tips while keeping the lobby and baggage areas tidy. This role involves collaborating with Doorman during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest services or hospitality roles.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests and staff.
• Wriendly and professional demeanour required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests professionally with a warm, confident greeting.
• Show guests to rooms and assist with luggage and directions.
• Provide room orientation and information about hotel facilities.
• Manage luggage tagging and storage in baggage room.
• Assist with Kiosk check-in/out and direct to Reception if needed.
• Provide updates on F&B outlets and local area information.
• Support transportation arrangements and promote hotel facilities.
• Maintain lobby and baggage room cleanliness and luggage trolley condition.
• Monitor printer at the counter and attend daily briefing before shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

About the role

This is a full-time on-site role for Bellman to provide friendly and efficient service to guests while transporting luggage and providing other services as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests professionally and demonstrate a warm, confident, and genuine first impression.
• Show guests to the room and assist them with their luggage while giving guest information about the hotel, its features as well as general information about the local area and direction to the train station.
• Provide detailed room orientation for arriving guests.
• Make sure airline luggage tags are removed and disposed of before sending luggage’s to guest rooms.
• Assist guests on Kiosk’s check in and out. Direct guest to Reception if guest encounter any challenge when using the Kiosk.
• Provide updated information about the hotel facilities and F&B outlets.
• Assist guests with their transportation needs and recommend the use of hotel facilities whenever possible.
• Ensure proper recording of all departure luggage that is stored in the baggage room.
• To assist Doorman at front driveway when it’s busy.
• To keep a look out in the lobby for guests who may require any assistance.
• Ensure the lobby area and baggage room are always clean.
• Ensure luggage trolleys are well maintained and accounted for.
• To monitor the printer at the counter.
• To attend daily briefing session before the start of every shift.
• To perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Management.
