Job summary

CHAPTR CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive bancassurance growth with a leading local bank in Singapore.

You will build and manage the partnership, develop sales campaigns and ensure regulatory and governance compliance. The role demands strong sales performance, excellent communication with banking stakeholders, and a proactive, results-driven mindset in a target-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in bancassurance, insurance, banking, business development or partnerships.
• Strong track record in sales, relationship management or business development.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-driven, results-oriented and able to work effectively in a target-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and achieve business targets across the bancassurance channel.
• Develop strong relationships with key banking stakeholders and distribution teams.
• Identify new business opportunities and initiatives to increase sales, conversion and customer penetration.
• Plan and execute campaigns, sales activities and partnership initiatives.
• Analyse sales performance and market data to identify growth opportunities.
• Work with internal teams across underwriting, operations and claims to support business delivery.
• Track sales pipelines, KPIs and provide regular performance updates to management.
• Ensure all activities meet regulatory, compliance and governance requirements.
