Job description

The Role :

As a backend developer, your main task will be to recommend and code in the best technologies to create amazing products that solve the data challenges of our clients.

Yourresponsibilitieswill include :

• Driving improvement by designing and implementing new features and products and translatingfeature requests and product plans into technical plans.
• Participating in defining programming objectives, setting timelines for the deliverables and ensuring commitment to the stipulated deadlines.
• Writing well designed and efficientback-endcode using best software development practiceswhile also participating in testing, debugging andwriting technicaldocumentation.
• Identifying risks involved with the development and providing solutions to resolve complex problems.
• Working closely with the Project Manager / Business analyst to plan and evaluate the work performed by the team andanalyzethe impact on the project.
• Setting up best codingpractices and conducting regular code reviews.
• Setting up processes while working in collaboration with other teams (internal or external) to efficiently meet the technical needs of the assigned project.
• Mentoring junior programmers in the team.
• Keeping abreast of new technologies (We have a budget for our developers to learn new skills!)

Ideal Profile :

• You ideally have 2-5 years ofhands-onexperience as a full-stack / backend developerpreferably in an Agileenvironmentwith exposure to the full software development life cycle.
• You have a strong background in Node.js as well as proficiency in database management usingNoSQL / MongoDB.
• Youare a self-driven individual withgoodanalytical and problem-solving skills.
• You haveexcellentwritten and verbal communication skillsincluding strongdocumentation / reporting skills.
• Knowledge of additionalsoftware technologies(e.g.,React, Python,JavaScript,CSS / bootstrap, Angular, Android / Eclipse)and CI / CDis a plus.
• Familiarity with Machine learning technologies(e.g.KERAS,TensorFlow, NEAT,GPT2,DialogGPT, BERT,Scikit-learn, RASA, Jarvis)andcloud platforms such as AWSisaplus.
