Job summary

Business Show Media is expanding its Singapore operation and seeks a commercially minded Business Development Executive to identify exhibitors or sponsors and convert conversations into opportunities.

You will engage decision-makers through LinkedIn, email and other digital channels, with Mandarin or Cantonese desirable for regional outreach. This role offers uncapped commission and clear progression within an international events business.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships with decision-makers and founders.
• Comfortable working toward sales targets.
• Organised and proactive in managing a pipeline.
• Commercially curious with business interest.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospective exhibitors and sponsors.
• Generate new business opportunities via LinkedIn and social selling.
• Create personalised outreach campaigns and messages.
• Build relationships with senior decision-makers across markets.
• Use digital channels to start commercial conversations.
• Qualify prospects and develop opportunities.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline in CRM.
• Follow up with clients and nurture relationships.
• Work toward lead generation and revenue targets.
• Collaborate with the international sales team.
