Job summary

OCBC Bank in Singapore seeks a seasoned Payments Transformation lead to drive end-to-end initiatives across domestic and cross-border payments. You will partner with Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance and Business stakeholders to deliver innovative payment solutions and ensure operational readiness.

This role requires 8–12 years of payments and transformation experience, with a strong focus on automation, STP uplift, and process optimisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, information systems, engineering, operations management, or related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in payments, banking operations, transformation or change management.
• Strong knowledge of payment products, infrastructures, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven track record in leading large transformation initiatives and operational excellence programs.
• Experience driving automation, STP uplift, and efficiency improvements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and leadership in a fast-paced environment.
• Technical knowledge in data analytics, AI, and related technologies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive payment initiatives across domestic and cross-border ecosystems with timely implementation.
• Lead end-to-end transformation programmes focused on automation and STP uplift.
• Partner with Product, Technology, Compliance, Risk, and Business stakeholders to deliver initiatives.
• Champion continuous improvement to reduce manual touchpoints and improve client experience.
• Assess impact and implement emerging payment capabilities and market developments.
• Establish and monitor transformation metrics to measure value realization.
• Represent Group Payment Operations in strategic forums and cross-functional programmes.
• Develop and maintain the Payments Transformation roadmap aligned to strategy and regulation.
• Leverage AI, data analytics, digitisation tools to identify gaps and drive efficiency.
