Job summary
The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to oversee the upkeep of heavy manufacturing plant equipment at Jalan Boon Lay.
You will troubleshoot, lead a team of technicians, and plan preventive maintenance to minimise downtime while ensuring safe, efficient operations. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic/mechatronics engineering and 2–3 years of relevant experience, with hands-on automation knowledge and PLC
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic/mechatronics engineering.
- 2–3 years of relevant working experience in heavy manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience in automation systems, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair.
- Experience in the steel manufacturing industry is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Lead technicians in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of plant machinery and equipment.
- Develop, plan, and schedule maintenance activities to support safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
- Manage spare parts inventory effectively to ensure availability of critical components and prevent delays.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and service providers for technical support and maintenance services.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards, maintenance procedures, and company policies.
