Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for our Jalan Boon Lay facility in Singapore. The role focuses on supervising technicians, planning maintenance, and ensuring reliable plant operations in a heavy manufacturing environment.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and optimize equipment, manage spares, and coordinate with external service providers to minimize downtime while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic/mechatronics engineering.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in heavy manufacturing.
• Hands-on automation troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Experience in the steel manufacturing industry is a plus.
• Valid driving license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure equipment performance.
• Lead and supervise a team of technicians in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of plant machinery and equipment.
• Develop, plan, and schedule maintenance activities to support safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
• Manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability of critical components.
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and service providers for technical support and maintenance services.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and company policies.
