Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to oversee the upkeep of heavy manufacturing plant equipment at Jalan Boon Lay.

You will troubleshoot, lead a team of technicians, and plan preventive maintenance to minimise downtime while ensuring safe, efficient operations. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic/mechatronics engineering and 2–3 years of relevant experience, with hands-on automation knowledge and PLC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic/mechatronics engineering.
• 2–3 years of relevant working experience in heavy manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience in automation systems, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair.
• Experience in the steel manufacturing industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Lead technicians in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of plant machinery and equipment.
• Develop, plan, and schedule maintenance activities to support safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
• Manage spare parts inventory effectively to ensure availability of critical components and prevent delays.
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and service providers for technical support and maintenance services.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards, maintenance procedures, and company policies.

Position title :Maintenance Engineer

• Location:Jalan Boon Lay
• Working Days: 5. 5 days A Week (44 hrs/week)
• Working hours : 8am – 5pm (Mon-Fri) and 8am – 12pm (Sat)
• Salary :$3,200 - $4,500 (based on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Perform troubleshooting and corrective maintenance to minimize production downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Lead and supervise a team of technicians in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of plant machinery and equipment.
• Develop, plan, and schedule maintenance activities to support safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
• Manage spare parts inventory effectively to ensure the availability of critical components and prevent operational delays.
• Coordinate and liaise with suppliers, vendors, and service providers for technical support, spare parts procurement, and maintenance services.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards, maintenance procedures, and company policies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience in automation systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment.
• Experience in the steel manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of IPCs, PLC programming, drive control systems, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
• Possession of a valid driving license is preferred.
