Job summary

MAESTRO HUMAN RESOURCE PTE. LTD. is seeking an Assistant HR Manager to drive HR operational excellence and employee relations. You will support advisory, onboarding, offboarding, and payroll coordination to ensure accurate records and compliant practices.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and at least 5 years of progressive HR experience, with strong analytical, communication, and confidentiality skills. This position is based in Singapore and follows a 5-day work week.

We are looking for a capable and detail-oriented Assistant HR Manager to support the Human Resources department in driving HR operational excellence and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide HR advisory on employee relations, HR policies, and compliance matters
• Handle staff grievances and employee issues professionally and in line with company procedures
• Oversee HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee documentation
• Track and manage the full employee life cycle, from hiring to exit, ensuring timely updates and reporting
• Prepare salary proposals and ensure internal equity in compensation and alignment with salary structures and market benchmarks
• Assist in the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate and confidential HR records in HRIS and ensure compliance with local labour laws
• Coordinate with payroll, benefits, and administrative teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Support HR audits, compliance reporting, and ad-hoc HR projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably with exposure to employee relations
