• Oversight of Prophet Modelling for Singlife Limited.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive Prophet model optimization (including coding, runtime improvement as well as enhancement in modelling methodology).
• Oversee the modelling of new products into Prophet, as well as enhancement of Prophet model due to inforce management initiatives.
• Responsible for robust Prophet management and governance practices.
• Regular maintenance/review of both Prophet deterministic and ALS model.

Key Decisions within the Role

• Manage the modelling of new and existing products and ensure proper model governance.

Requirements

Experience

• At least 4 years of actuarial experience in Prophet modelling and life valuation/capital management. Experience in Prophet ALS modelling and model management is preferred.
• strong knowledge/experience of Singapore Risk Based Capital 2. Experience in ICs is an advantage.
• Possessing leadership experience in managing a small team.
• Self-driven and able to motivate team members to deliver projects on a timely basis.
• Great teamwork and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders including Finance, IT, regulators, auditors and group office.

Education

• Academic: Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science (preferred)
• Professional Certification(s): Fellow of Society of Actuaries, Institute and Faculty of Actuaries or Institute of Actuaries Australia (preferred)
