Job summary

Jobline Resources Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced Network Security Engineer to develop and maintain Fortinet-based security tools and standards. You will collaborate with engineers to integrate Firewall Policy Management, Automation, and ITSM tools, and drive standardization across firewall processes.

You will also contribute to automation efforts, deliver regular stakeholder reports, and mentor junior engineers in a dynamic enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years in Enterprise Firewall, 1+ year in network security tech.
• Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet.
• Experience with Firewall Policy Management tools (Algosec) and integrating with Automation and ITSM Tools.
• Knowledge of programming and scripting languages.
• Knowledge of system and network-related technologies.
• Experience with infrastructure automation is a plus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Willingness to provide 24/7 standby support.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Network Security tools, practices and processes, coordinate security measures to protect the organization’s network infrastructure.
• Work with a team of engineers to develop integrations between Firewall Policy Management, Automation and ITSM Tools.
• Develop and maintain processes and practices that drives towards incorporating best practices, improving operations hygiene and standardization of Firewall Processes.
• Collaborate with Automation Team to develop new capabilities, improve integration between systems, improve efficiency and user experience.
• Provide regular reports and updates to stakeholders.
• Provide coaching and guidance to junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor in Computer Engineering or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in Enterprise Firewall and minimum 1 year of experience in Network Security-related technologies.
• Strong hands on experience with Fortinet is required
• Technical and hands-on engineer who have built, developed, or managed enterprise-level and mission-critical infrastructure.
• Have good knowledge developing Network Security Processes and working with Firewall Policy Management Tools (such as Algosec) and integrating it with Automation and ITSM Tools.
• Preferably some knowledge in working with programming and scripting languages.
• Knowledge in System & Network-related technologies.
• Have some working knowledge in infrastructure automation will be an advantage
