Job summary

Jobline Resources Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced Network Security Engineer to develop and maintain Fortinet-based security tools and standards. You will collaborate with engineers to integrate Firewall Policy Management, Automation, and ITSM tools, and drive standardization across firewall processes.

You will also contribute to automation efforts, deliver regular stakeholder reports, and mentor junior engineers in a dynamic enterprise environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor in Computer Engineering or equivalent.
At least 2 years in Enterprise Firewall, 1+ year in network security tech.
Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet.
Experience with Firewall Policy Management tools (Algosec) and integrating with Automation and ITSM Tools.
Knowledge of programming and scripting languages.
Knowledge of system and network-related technologies.
Experience with infrastructure automation is a plus.
Strong communication and stakeholder management.
Willingness to provide 24/7 standby support.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain network security tools, practices and processes to protect the organization’s network infrastructure.
Collaborate with engineers to integrate Firewall Policy Management, Automation and ITSM tools.
Develop processes to standardize firewall practices and improve operations hygiene.
Partner with the Automation Team to enhance system integrations and user experience.
Provide regular reports and updates to stakeholders.
Coach and guide junior engineers.
