Job summary

MORGAN MCKINLEY PTE. LTD. is engaging for a security engineer to support a government technology agency driving digital transformation in healthcare. You will help design, implement and maintain security controls across IT infrastructure and ensure policy compliance.

Responsibilities include developing network security tools, integrating firewall policy management (Algosec) with automation and ITSM tools, and providing guidance to junior engineers while reporting to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• 2+ years in Enterprise Firewall and 1+ year in Network Security technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet.
• Experience with Firewall Policy Management tools and integration with Automation/ITSM.
• Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Network Security tools, practices and processes, coordinate security measures to protect the organization’s network infrastructure.
• Work with a team of engineers to develop integrations between Firewall Policy Management, Automation and ITSM Tools.
• Develop and maintain processes that drive best practices, improve operations hygiene and standardize firewall processes.
• Collaborate with Automation Team to develop new capabilities and improve system integration and user experience.
• Provide regular reports and updates to stakeholders.
• Provide coaching and guidance to junior engineers.

Job Overview

You will be deployed to our client who is a leading government technology agency driving digital transformation and innovation in the healthcare sector. You will be responsible in supporting the security of an organization and IT infrastructure. This role involves assisting in the design, implementation, and maintenance of security measures, performing testing and troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Network Security tools, practices and processes, coordinate security measures to protect the organization’s network infrastructure.
• Work with a team of engineers to develop integrations between Firewall Policy Management, Automation and ITSM Tools.
• Develop and maintain processes and practices that drives towards incorporating best practices, improving operations hygiene and Standardization of Firewall Processes.
• Collaborate with Automation Team to develop new capabilities, improve integration between systems, improve efficiency and user experience.
• Provide regular reports and updates to Stakeholders.
• Provide coaching and guidance to junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in Enterprise Firewall and minimum 1 year of experience in Network Security-related technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet is required
• Technical and hands-on engineer who have built, developed, or managed enterprise-level and mission critical infrastructure.
• Have good knowledge developing Network Security Processes and working with Firewall Policy Management Tools (such as Algosec) and integrating it with Automation and ITSM Tools.
• Preferably some knowledge in working with programming and scripting languages.
• Knowledge in System & Network-related technologies.
• Have some working knowledge in infrastructure automation will be an advantage
