Job summary

WIS ICT PRIVATE LIMITED in Singapore seeks an experienced Firewall Engineer to implement and operate enterprise security policies across Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Checkpoint environments.

You will manage firewall rules, participate in incident response, change management, and documentation, with emphasis on accuracy, speed, and risk reduction. Preference for NSE 4–7 and PCNSA/PCNSE.

Qualifications

• Hands-on with Fortinet FortiGate: VPN, policies, routing, HA, SD-WAN.
• Palo Alto NGFW: policies, NAT, App-ID, User-ID.
• Checkpoint firewalls: policies, VPN, routing, HA, SD-WAN, logging.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Firewall Implementation and Operations (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Checkpoint)

• Create and Manage firewall rules creation, change requests, rule optimization, NAT/VPN configuration and firmware upgrades.
• Monitor traffic, identify anomalies, and remediate security events.
• Create and Maintain HA configurations, routing and logging integrations.
• Support audits and evidence collection for regulatory/compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications:

Hands-on expertise with:

• Fortinet FortiGate (policies, VPN, routing, HA, SD-WAN, logging).
• Palo Alto Networks firewalls (policies, NAT, App-ID, User-ID).
• Checkpoint firewalls (policies, VPN, routing, HA, SD-WAN, logging).
• Experience in incident response, change management, and documentation.
• Ability to work independently with a focus on accuracy, speed, and risk reduction.

Preferred Certifications (Nice to Have)

Fortinet NSE 4–7, Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE

• Firewall rules changes are accordance to requests.
