We are currently looking for a Consultant or Associate Consultant Microbiologist to join the Department of Laboratory Medicine at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital in Singapore.


The Microbiology section in the Department of Laboratory Medicine provides diagnostic services in the field of bacteriology, virology, mycology and parasitology for patients with infectious diseases. It is also a vital support service for the institution’s infection control and antimicrobial stewardship services.

The laboratory is furnished with the latest diagnostic platforms to ensure accurate and timely reporting of microbiology results. As part of the laboratory medicine team, you will be working closely with a professional team of microbiology trained laboratory technicians, fellow clinical microbiologists, haematologists and biochemists as well as infectious disease physicians.


Job Requirements: MBBS and a relevant postgraduate qualification (e.g. FRCPath, FRCPA) registrable with the Singapore Medical Council and Specialist Accreditation Board.
