Job summary

QUANTUM AUTOMATION PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a seasoned maintenance supervisor. You will lead engineers and technicians, plan schedules, and coordinate with project teams to ensure on-time delivery of maintenance and add-on activities.

You will review service reports for quotations and invoicing, supervise subcontractors, negotiate with suppliers, and monitor inventory. Strong customer service and leadership skills are essential to build lasting client relationships.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of work experience in the related field.
• Experience with building management, security/CCTV, or fire alarm systems is an advantage.
• Good management skills and ability to lead a team.
• Pleasant personality with strong customer service and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and add-on activities, including meetings, coordination and supervision.
• Plan the maintenance schedule and ensure work schedules are executed as planned.
• Review service reports for quotation submissions, invoicing and rectification follow-ups.
• Assign tasks to the team for breakdown calls from clients.
• Monitor and follow up on parts procurement.
• Ensure sub-contractor workers follow proper work processes.
• Negotiate prices to meet budget targets.
• Maintain spare parts and equipment at minimum inventory levels.
• Provide supervision to engineers and technicians for day-to-day work.
• Follow up on payments from customers.
• Forecast manpower needs to ensure adequate staffing.
• Coordinate with project teams for project handovers.
• Arrange and conduct staff trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description:

• Responsible for maintenance and add-on related activities, including meetings, coordination, and supervision works.
• Plan the maintenance schedule and ensure that work schedules are executed planned.
• Review and check the service reports and ensure the information is accurate the purposes of quotation submission, invoicing for completed works, following up on rectification works if required.
• Assign tasks to the team when there are breakdown calls from clients.
• Monitor and follow up on the procurement of parts.
• Ensure sub-contractor workers follow proper work processes.
• Perform price negotiation to meet the budget.
• Ensure spare parts and equipment are always maintained at the minimum inventory level.
• Provide supervision to Engineers and Technicians for day-to-day work activities.
• Follow up on payments from customers.
• Forecast future manpower needs to ensure sufficient manpower for assigned tasks.
• Coordinate with project teams for project handover.
• Arrange and conduct training for staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering.
• At least 5 years of work experience in the related field.
• Experience in one or more of the following fields will be an added advantage:
• Building Management System
• Security, Access Control, CCTV System
• Fire Alarm System
• Good management skills.
• Pleasant personality, excellent customer service skills, and ability to build maintain a positive relationship with customers.
