Job summary

ips securex pte. ltd. is seeking a Service Delivery Manager to lead a technical team responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining a complex communication system. You will ensure customer satisfaction by understanding needs and aligning system performance with expectations.

The role involves budgeting, contract management, risk mitigation, and ongoing maintenance to keep systems operating at peak efficiency. Strong leadership, planning, and customer-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Technical/Engineering Diploma is required.
• Hands-on experience in Electronics Security System, PA/EVC Communications and Network.
• Supervisory experience in managing small teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong planning and organisational abilities.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and/or Adobe software.
• Able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated strengths in managing customers and multiple projects across sites.
• Highly flexible and adaptable.
• Vehicle ownership is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Managing a team of technicians and engineers responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining the communication system.
• Ensure the team is trained and equipped to deliver services to customers.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, understanding needs and ensuring the system meets them.
• Ensure service delivery and SLAs meet quality standards; monitor metrics and implement improvements.
• Manage service delivery budgets, including resources, cost management, and revenue forecasting.
• Administer service delivery contracts, negotiate terms, and manage expectations.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with service delivery.
• Ensure regular maintenance and preventive checks of the communication system.
• Diagnose and repair faults, perform troubleshooting and testing as needed.
• Manage spare parts inventory and procurement for the system.
• Monitor system performance, conduct tests, and resolve issues.

Job Responsibilities

• Managing a team of technicians and engineers who are responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining the communication system.

• Ensure that the team is properly trained and equipped to deliver the service to customers.

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers. This involves understanding their needs and expectations and ensuring that the system in meeting those needs.

• Ensuring that the service delivery & service level meets the quality standards set by the customers. This involves monitoring performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

• Managing the service delivery budgets, including resource allocation, cost management, and revenue forecasting.

• Managing service delivery contracts with customers. This includes negotiating terms, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and managing customer expectations.

• Identifying and managing risks associated with service delivery. This involves developing risk management plans and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of risks on service delivery.

• Ensuring that the communication system is properly maintained on a regular basis. This includes conducting routine checks, inspections, and preventive maintenance to ensure that the system is operating at peak performance.

• Diagnosing and repairing faults in the communication system. This includes troubleshooting, testing, and repairing any equipment or software malfunctions that may occur.

• Managing spare parts and equipment required for the communication system. This involves maintaining an inventory of spare parts, ensuring that the required parts are available when needed, and ordering new parts as required.

• Monitoring the performance of the communication system. This includes conducting regular tests and measurements to ensure that the system is operating within specified parameters and identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
  

Job Requirements
