REERACOEN SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager (Electronics) to develop new markets, manage key accounts, and mentor a small team. The focus includes Semiconductor and Electronics industries across Southeast Asia, Oceania, and South Asia.

The role reports to the Sales Manager and Director, with a hybrid work arrangement (minimum 2 days in office). Travel 1–2 times per month and bonus-based compensation are offered.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Business or related field.
• 6+ years of B2B regional sales and business development in semiconductor/electronics supply chain.
• 5+ years in Southeast Asia market.
• 2+ years leading a small team (1–2 staff).
• Willingness to travel 1–2 times per month (SEA region).
• Fluent English and Mandarin communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop new markets and opportunities for emerging products.
• Manage assigned customer accounts as main contact, building long-term relationships.
• Understand demand forecasts, purchasing plans, and customer requirements.
• Monitor market conditions and customer movements through engagement and intel gathering.
• Coordinate with internal teams to support customer requirements and sales execution.
• Prepare monthly sales reports and Head Office presentations.

Assistant Sales Manager (Electronics) (36269)

Location: Central

Our client is a Japanese global company specializing in chemicals and electronics. They are looking to hire an Assistant Sales Manager (Electronics) who will be responsible for developing new markets, sales and account management, mentoring and developing team members to maximize their potential, and supporting their growth in achieving departmental goals. This role will have a strong focus on new business development in the Semiconductor and Electronics industries, while also expanding into other selected industries and regional markets across Southeast Asia, Oceania, and South Asia.

Reports to the Sales Manager and Director

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of sales and account management plans in alignment with business priorities.
• Manage assigned customer accounts as the main point of contact, building long-term trust and maintaining stable business relationships.
• Maintain close communications with customers to understand demand forecasts, purchasing plans, customer requirements and future business needs.
• Monitor market conditions and customer movements through customer engagement, networking and internal sales information.
• Coordinate the collection of market intelligence, competitive updates and customer insights to support long-term business decisions.
• Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders, including supply chain, technical, regional teams and Head Office, to support customer requirements and smooth sales execution.
• Develop new markets and business opportunities for emerging products by identifying potential customers, understanding application needs and driving sales opportunities with smaller or developing accounts.
• Prepare monthly sales reports, including budget forecasts, actual results and presentation materials for Head Office reporting.

Requirements & Preferences

• Possess a Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Business or related fields
• At least 6 years of B2B regional sales and business development experience in the semiconductor or electronics manufacturing supply chain, with a focus on functional materials or chemicals used in the production process
• At least 5 years of experience in the Southeast Asian market
• More than 2 years of experience in managing a team/project leader of 1-2 staff
• Able to manage both mature existing customer accounts and new customer development activities.
• Willingness to travel around 1-2 times a month (Mostly to the Southeast Asia Region)
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Mandarin, confident in presenting to audiences in English and Mandarin to different parts of the world
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation purposes)
