Job summary

YY CIRCLE (SG) PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a capable retail leader to drive sales, supervise a team, and ensure superb customer experience at our store in Singapore. The role combines sales focus, customer service excellence, and daily operations under the direction of the store leadership.

The candidate should have at least 3 years in IT/Gaming retail, a passion for gaming, and Mandarin fluency. Expect a dynamic retail environment with shifts and overseas travel when required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in IT/Gaming retail or similar capacity.
• Strong selling skills and passion for gaming.
• Fluent Mandarin; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage, drive and achieve KPI(s).
• Supervise and motivate team to meet daily/monthly sales targets.
• Analyze metiers' sales results monthly for Director's review.
• Coordinate and execute sales plans, marketing events and promotions.
• Ensure Customer Experience standards are executed consistently.
• Recommend ideas to build a strong regular customer base.
• Provide coaching on soft skills as needed.
• Handle client enquiries and complaints when escalated.
• Assist Director to manage daily store operations.
• Ensure store presentation aligns with brand image.
• Ensure proper security measures across processes and store.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service.
• Drive positive team culture and lead by example.
• Organize morning briefings with managers daily.
• Monitor onboarding and development of new staff.
• Oversee training and development across the team.
• Perform yearly appraisals for the team.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Director.

Key Responsibilities

Sales focus

• Able to manage, drive and achieve KPI(s)
• Supervise and motivate team to achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
• Analyze the metiers' sales results monthly to share with Director for performance evaluation and action plan
• Coordinate and execute sales plans, marketing events and promotion programs with the team

Customer Service

• Ensure Customer Experience standards are executed in a consistent manner.
• Recommend creative ideas to build/develop a strong regular customer base.
• Provide coaching to sale staff on soft skills as and when necessary.
• Identifies and handles client enquiries and complaints when escalated.

Operations

• Assist Director to manage and oversee the daily store operations.
• Ensures store presentation is consistent with the brand image.
• Ensure proper security measures are enforced across processes and store.
• Always ensure a high standard of Customer service.

Team Leading

• Responsible for driving a positive team culture and healthy work environment.
• Foster a strong team spirit and always leading in an exemplary manner.
• Organize and facilitate morning briefing with Sales Floor Manager/Store Manager daily for related topics.
• Monitors, coaching and assists Supervisors for all new staff onboarding.
• Oversee team’s development by providing on-the-job training, product training, soft skills training etc.

Other Duties

• Provides inputs and assists Director in whatever duty if required.
• Perform yearly appraisals for the team reporting to the individual.
• Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by Director.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in IT/ Gaming industry or in similar capacity.
• Passion in retail industry with good selling skills.
• Likes Gaming and appreciates quality products.
• Fluent in Mandrain, other languages are a plus
• Must be a good team player, pleasant, service oriented and self motivated.
• Strong team building, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skill set.
• Hands on computer knowledge of MS Office.
• Able to work shifts/ weekends and public holidays
• Able to travel overseas when required.
