Job summary

LOTTE Travel Retail Singapore PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable Retail Supervisor to manage daily store operations, lead a team, and ensure top-tier customer service at Changi Airport. You will plan rosters, coach staff, and uphold inventory and SOP standards.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, while delivering exceptional shopping experiences.

Qualifications

• Coach and mentor staff for selling skills and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Retail supervisors develop operations plans for their teams and ensure execution.
• Lead, manage and motivate the operations staff.
• Prepare and update duty rosters in Info-Tech HRMS Time Management System.
• Coach and train operations staff on GLOB+ system usage.
• Conduct daily briefings to team members before the start of shift duty.
• Provide constructive feedback to help staff develop selling skills.
• Lead by example in customer service, merchandise knowledge, selling skills and cashiering.
• Manage SOP and inventory procedures at store level.
• Multitask while keeping customers happy and satisfied.
• Excellent customer service and communication to meet business objectives.
• Good leadership to oversee and manage the team.
• Shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Attend meetings and conferences as required.
• Any ad-hoc assignment by supervisor.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Retail supervisors develop operations plans for their teams and make sure those plans are executed


• Lead, manage and motivate the operations staff


• Preparation and updating of duty roster to ensure accuracy in the Info-Tech HRMS Time Management System


• Coach and train operations staff on GLOB+ system usage


• Conduct daily briefings to team members before the start of shift duty


• To provide their team with constructive criticism and be able to help them develop by coaching and teaching different selling related skills


• Lead by example and excel in customer service, merchandise knowledge, selling skills as well as cashiering


• Manage and improve the SOP and procedures related to inventory management at the assigned stores level


• Able to multitask, while also keeping the customer happy and satisfied


• Excellent customer service and communications skills to meet the organisation business objectives and exceed customer’s expectations


• Good leadership skills to effectively oversee and manage the team


• Supervisors may work a variety of hours that may include nights, weekends, and holidays


• Retail supervisors may also be required to attend meetings and conferences


• Any other ad-hoc assignment or project assigned by your superior

Job Requirements

• At least 3 years travel retail or retail supervisory experience


• Professional and pleasant personality


• Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment


• Able to stand for extended periods of time


• Able to work rotating shifts duties in Changi Airport environment


• Able to work on weekends and public holidays
