Job summary

TAHLIA WATERS HR CONSULTING LLP in Singapore seeks a Quantity Surveying professional to assist the QS Manager and supervise a team of QS staff on live projects. You will oversee day-to-day contractual functions and ensure timely delivery while prioritizing workload to maintain backlog management.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of work experience in QS and contract administration.
• Knowledge of claims, valuations, contractual accounts and variation orders.

• Monitor outstanding contractual matters and drive timely resolution.
• Prepare and submit monthly QS reports including project status, risks and outstanding matters.
• Provide guidance and support to QS staff on contractual and QS matters.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, HDB and other relevant stakeholders.
• Escalate contractual, operational, and performance issues to management.
• Support process improvements and other assignments as required.

What Do You Need to Have?

• Candidates must possess a Diploma or a Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• He/she must possess at least 3 to 5 years of working experience in Quantity Surveying and contract administration.
• Good knowledge of claims, valuations, contractual accounts and Variation Orders.
• Familiarity with PSSCOC.
• Strong supervisory and team management skills.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines.
• Experience working with consultants, contractors, and HDB will be an advantage.
