Job summary

EM Services Pte Ltd is seeking a capable Quantity Surveying Lead to manage a team and oversee contractual functions across projects in Singapore. You will ensure timely delivery, monitor valuations and claims, and maintain compliance with PSSCOC and SOPs while coordinating with consultants, contractors and HDB stakeholders.

The role emphasizes staff supervision, workload planning, and timely resolution of outstanding matters, with a focus on process improvements and performance management.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise assigned Quantity Surveying staff.
• Oversee day-to-day execution of QS contractual functions and ensure timely delivery.
• Allocate and prioritise workload to maintain effective backlog and workload management.
• Monitor the quality and accuracy of claims, valuations, and contractual accounts.
• Ensure compliance with PSSCOC, company SOPs and relevant contractual requirements.
• Monitor outstanding contractual matters and drive timely resolution.
• Prepare and submit monthly QS reports including project status, risks and outstanding matters.
• Provide guidance and support to QS staff on contractual and QS matters.
• Monitor staff attendance, productivity and performance.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, HDB and other stakeholders.
• Escalate contractual, operational and performance issues to management.
• Support process improvements and other assignments as required.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

Experience

• Relevant experience in Quantity Surveying and contract administration.

Specific Skills/Knowledge

• Good knowledge of claims, valuations, contractual accounts and Variation Orders.
• Familiarity with PSSCOC and company SOPs.
• Experience working with consultants, contractors, and HDB will be an advantage.
