Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Project Coordinator to oversee coordination of tenant improvements, capital projects, and site repairs across properties. You will support project managers with schedules, cost estimates, and vendor coordination while ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.

The role requires a high school diploma, a preferred Bachelor's in a related technical field, and 2+ years in architecture, construction, or project management.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, building construction or related technical area preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of prior work experience in architecture, construction or project management field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate projects including small tenant improvements, assignments, capital improvements and building/site repairs.
  • Review requisitions, change orders, payment applications and other invoices for the project.
  • Support site staff to identify requirements, estimate costs, prepare schedules, and coordinate completion of required work.
  • Participate in building evaluations and assist with physical audit reports.
  • Assist in selection and contracting of consultants and construction contractors for each project.
  • Issue regular status reports on work in progress.
  • Obtain approvals for organizational changes, project plans and expenditures exceeding approved budget.
  • Perform related assignments in daily group operations.

Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for the coordination of projects, including small tenant improvements, assignments, capital improvements and building or site repairs for properties; may provide project management support to Project Managers or Directors for designated projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Review requisitions, change orders, payment applications and other invoices associated with the project
  • Support staff responsible for specific sites to identify requirements, estimate costs, prepare schedules, and coordinate completion of required work
  • Participate in building evaluations (due diligence reviews) and assist with preparation of physical audit reports
  • Assist in the selection and contracting process of consultants and construction contractors, as necessary for each project
  • Issue regular status reports to personnel regarding work in progress
  • Get buy in and obtain appropriate approval for organizational changes, project plans and expenditures in excess of approved budget
  • Perform related assignments, as required, in the daily operation of the group
