We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented professional to support key academic administration processes for undergraduate and graduate programmes.
In this role, you will manage student enrolment and academic record matters, coordinate with different departments, review applications and exception cases, and support improvements to administrative systems and processes. This would suit someone with experience in academic services, student administration or a similar operations-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage graduate matriculation activities, including scheduling, deferred admissions, student communications, system setup and student record transfers.
- Review and resolve discrepancies in student records, registration status and enrolment information.
- Administer undergraduate credit transfer and course exemption applications, including reviewing cases and coordinating approved record updates.
- Manage change-of-programme exercises, covering timelines, application processes, communications and follow-up actions.
- Review appeals and exception cases, prepare case summaries and coordinate the required approvals.
- Compile statistics and information for operational reporting and decision-making.
- Support enhancements to student management systems by reviewing business requirements, preparing test scenarios and assisting with system testing.
- Work closely with internal departments and support teams to ensure academic processes are completed accurately and on time.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and other assigned projects.
Requirements / Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Around 3 to 5 years of experience in academic services, student services or a related administrative function.
- Experience in a tertiary education environment would be an advantage.
- Strong organisational skills with close attention to records, timelines and follow-up actions.
- Able to manage multiple processes and coordinate effectively with different stakeholders.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, particularly when explaining procedures or policy requirements.
- Service-oriented and responsive when handling enquiries and operational issues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Exposure to student management systems, curriculum administration, academic systems or data-reporting tools would be useful.
