Job summary

Hotel Stripes Singapore Chinatown, Autograph Collection, part of Marriott International, seeks an experienced Learning & Development leader to drive values, culture, and service excellence through effective training initiatives.

You will partner with the leadership team to design and deliver learning solutions, oversee corporate and property-based programs, evaluate effectiveness, and support talent development and succession planning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 2 years' experience in Learning & Development, Human Resources, management operations, or a related professional area. Experience in training facilitation is preferred. OR
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related major; no work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and coordinates all learning and development programs.
• Coordinates new hire orientation and onboarding programs.
• Identifies training needs with department leaders to support associate development.
• Delivers and monitors training programs aligned with culture, service standards and business objectives.
• Evaluates training effectiveness and recommends improvements.
• Supports talent development initiatives and drives employee engagement through learning activities.
• Assists with recruitment and onboarding, and supports HR compliance and records.

Job Summary

Leads the property's learning and development function by driving company values, culture, and service excellence through effective training and development initiatives. Partners with the leadership team to identify organizational and associate development needs, design and deliver learning solutions, and ensure training programs support business objectives and performance outcomes. Oversees the implementation of corporate and property-based training programs, evaluates training effectiveness, and supports talent development and succession planning initiatives. In addition, assists with selected Human Resources activities, including recruitment, compensation and benefits administration, associate engagement, and HR compliance, ensuring HR practices support business success and comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED; 2 years' experience in Learning & Development, Human Resources, management operations, or a related professional area. Experience in training facilitation is preferred. OR

• Maintains employee records and ensures compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
• Supports HR compliance, documentation, and other Human Resources operational needs.
