Job summary

Maestro Human Resource Pte Ltd is seeking an Assistant HR Manager to support HR operations and employee relations in Singapore. You will advise on policies, handle grievances, oversee onboarding, offboarding, and maintain HR records.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in HR/BA, 5 years of progressive HR experience, solid knowledge of employment laws, and strong analytical and communication skills. A 5-day work week at AMK is expected, with confidentiality and accuracy in reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably with employee relations exposure.
• Solid knowledge of employment laws, HR practices and compensation frameworks.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• 5 day week @ AMK.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR advisory on employee relations, policies, and compliance.
• Handle staff grievances professionally and per procedures.
• Oversee onboarding, offboarding and employee documentation.
• Track full life cycle from hiring to exit and report updates.
• Prepare salary proposals and ensure internal equity with market benchmarks.
• Assist in implementing and communicating HR policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate confidential HR records in HRIS and ensure compliance with local labour laws.
• Coordinate with payroll, benefits and administration for accuracy and timeliness.
• Support HR audits, compliance reporting and ad-hoc HR projects.
