Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute departmental activities, including manpower planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet productivity and KPIs.

  • Review technical specifications, prepare job lists, work schedules, material take-offs, and manpower plans for yard and contractor works.

  • Monitor project progress and raise early warnings on technical, manpower, or schedule risks to Production and Commercial teams.

  • Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure timely procurement and delivery of approved materials.

  • Prepare forecasts for manpower loading, material arrival, and facility utilization.

  • Collaborate with Project Managers, subcontractors, and cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution.

  • Represent the department in production, operations, management, and client meetings.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory standards, including Permit to Work systems.

  • Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, productivity, cost control, and housekeeping.

  • Control department budgets, minimize material wastage, and ensure accurate documentation and reporting.

Key Requirements
  • 8–10 years of relevant experience in the marine industry or shipyard environment.

  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline.
