Job description
Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute daily departmental activities, including manpower allocation, work scheduling, and material planning to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.

Interpret technical specifications, prepare job scopes and material take-offs, and identify potential technical or manpower risks, escalating issues early to relevant stakeholders.

Coordinate with Project Managers, Commercial, Procurement, Subcontractors, and other trades to align schedules, procedures, and resources.

Oversee material approvals, procurement coordination, budget control, equipment utilization, and minimization of material wastage.

Represent the department in internal and client meetings, providing engineering clarifications and project updates.

Ensure full compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory standards, including Permit-to-Work systems and housekeeping practices.

Drive continuous improvement in productivity, safety performance, and operational processes.

Key Requirements

8–10 years of experience in the marine or shipyard environment.

Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
